I'm heading out to get a custom seat built for the New Wing, but wouldn't you know it I've come down with shingles. Oh well, can't let an inconvenience get in the way.

I stopped at Sherm and Pat's for a nice visit.

He is a master of the windshield!

One of the old Harvey Houses on RT 66 in Needles, CA

I stopped for lunch here

Lot's of fun memorabilia

I saved my fortune by not having it told

WOW, Peggy herself!

Lunch

People who write on bathroom walls......

Childhood fantasies

If they had waited until today, I could have been on this sign.

In all of the years I lived in CA, I had never been to Lake Isabella.

That's not true anymore

The Kern River a few miles below the dam. The river road was a blast to ride all the way to Bakersfield.

I left the freeway in Tulare, CA to get a room for the night and this was parked at the exit.

A crew of volunteers were cleaning the old girl up

They had some decent equipment for accessing the hard to reach places.

They let me crawl around all I wanted

I think the main activity at this field is crop dusting

I woke up to rain and got to enjoy it for about two hundred miles today. I'm very impressed with the protection and airflow on this new bike.

I made it!

The old seat that isn't really so old

I have a lot of time to kill so I decided to walk the town. I met this guy early on, he didn't have a lot to say but was a very good listener. We visited for about a half hour. Ok, only 8.5 hours to go.

We both starved.

Like me, this old water wheel has seen better days.

Bringing out the preliminary build for a test sit.

I had them make a little more room for the boys.

These are customer seats waiting their turn to be modified.

Each seat is custom fit and built to the individual according to their height, weight, etc.
My one

After the seat is built the cover is sewn and installed here. I didn't show all of the process if injecting the foam or spring supports as this is proprietary information.

A lot of these guys in the trees around here.

The sign said no loitering, so I laid down on the bench and did some vertical photography.

I loved watching these as a little kid.

I thought it was a joke when I first saw it.

My sis says it is common

I never noticed this tree until I came out of the building. I guess it grew really fast!

We had a different librarian when I was a kid

Pretty young town

A VW bug lover

An old front throw mower.

The three S's, do you know them?

Shasta dam, Shasta lake, Shasta mountain
